“I live half the year in North America, traveling ALL over and I live half the year over seas. I am a VERY, VERY serious coffee connoisseur. If you are like me, and you take the art of making espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, Americanos, etc, with passion and TRUE knowledge (the same as one would with great wine and beer) then you must stop in at Mount Currie Coffee. Chris Ankeny, the owner and a great guy to talk to, is VERY technical and specific when it comes to the ENTIRE process of his coffee. Throughout every day, due to external and internal conditions/factors, they are constantly calibrating their process of extracting the perfect “pull” to ensure Chris’s extremely high standards that he has. With all the coffee cafes that are constantly popping up all over the globe, it’s SOOO refreshing to visit one that actually knows, with in depth knowledge and experience, how to make world class coffee. And yes, they also have very tasty bakery vittles to munch on.”

“Best Coffee in the Sea to Sky! I am a cappuccino drinker and this is by far the best place to have one in the sea to sky. Great hang-out place to watch Mt.Currie, or the local scene. Gelato in the summer is also one of my favourites here. Yum! Well-priced & great service.”

“Cranberry and Turkey Panini to Die For! Love this locals hangout. I keep trying all their grilled paninis and I have to say their cranberry and turkey is such a winner. They roast the turkey onsite and the whole thing is just too delicious. Gelato for those hot days and great art revolving through the season by locals. Excellent.”

“Though a thousand miles from my doorstep, I make the drive a few times of year to savor a Mt. Currie cappuccino. 3rd wave ingredients & preparation make this an extra-special cup o’ java. Chris and his crew put out a friendly, unpretentious vibe that isn’t the norm in many fancy coffee establishments. And the breaky burritos, grilled panini’s, locally sourced soups, etc. take MCCC to the next level. In short, go now.”

“Coffee and Food on Another Level. Don’t Miss! The most sublime cup of coffee I have ever tasted….anywhere! Each cup of coffee the barista makes is passed over the counter with pride. One sip and you’ll be planning your next trip to Pemberton.

Everything the shop does is first rate- the sandwiches are all made with local, organic meats and greens. They have amazing gelato made just down the road for post bike ride bliss on the sunny patio facing Mt. Currie.

Super cool artwork from a different featured artist surround you as you ponder which tasty item to choose. This place is totally Pemberton- don’t miss!”
